| Communication Special Fruit : Corona virus |
Dear partner,
The management of Special Fruit has opted to implement a number of actions with immediate effect in order to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection at all our locations (Special Fruit Belgium, Special Fruit Spain & Berry Packing Services). These actions are in force until further notice in connection with the rapid follow-up of changes. If changes occur in the interim, they will of course be communicated to you. There is currently NO coronavirus infection within Special Fruit.
At Special Fruit, we put your health and that of our employees first. In addition, we consider it essential to guarantee and protect our business continuity and that of customers, suppliers and other external parties. We guarantee this in the following way:
Visitors of Special Fruit or Special Fruit visiting you :
International customer and supplier visits are postponed for the time being. If post-ponement is not possible, after consultation with your contact person within Special Fruit, a declaration concerning Corona virus will be signed upon arrival.
We make every effort to continue to guarantee an optimal service for our customers as our suppliers.
Persons who have visited risk areas where there is an entry and exit ban during the last 14 days are requested to report this to their manager, to stay at home and to work from home if the position allows this.
Special Fruit has taken a number of additional preventive measures:

From now on, the cleaning company will carry out the "wet cleaning" with a disinfecting product (disinfection of desks / surfaces and objects such as telephones, keyboards). -
Additional dispensers with hand disinfectant have been placed at different entrances. -
In a number of places posters will be hung with advice to wash your hands properly. -
All employees will be informed by mail, extra briefing or the screen in the canteen. -
All travel for work by public means of transport (e.g. bus, train or plane) shall be suspended. This applies to colleagues, suppliers as well as customers. -
Scheduled visits to and from suppliers and customers will be allowed if the journey is organized by a private means of transport. Provided, of course, that the visit is allowed by the customer / supplier. -
As far as possible, meetings will be organized by telephone. -
Participation in congresses, trainings and events will be cancelled.
Business continuity
Special Fruit will provide additional stocks (where applicable) to reduce the potential impact of supply chain disruptions. As a result, business continuity can be realized.
