My adventure at Special Fruit began in December as a Sales Support representative. During my first few weeks, I quickly discovered that there’s a lot that goes into that little container of berries, that mango, or that avocado before it reaches the customer. By shadowing staff in various departments, I got to grips with the entire process step by step.

Today, I’m a Junior Account Manager and work with clients in Belgium and Scandinavia. Those client interactions are what make my job extra enjoyable. An absolute highlight was my first Fruit Logistica in Berlin: much bigger than I’d imagined and a great opportunity to get to know clients better beyond the daily emails and phone calls.

What makes Special Fruit special to me is the combination of hard work and a casual atmosphere. There’s room to grow, but thankfully also room to laugh together.
